ICT Pedagogue for the Social Administration
Do you want to help create a smooth and functional digital everyday life for the social administration's operations? As an ICT pedagogue with us, you will play a key role in ensuring that employees and managers have the right tools, permissions, and support to make a difference for the residents of Halmstad every day.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with the operations and be a central contact point for questions regarding systems, licenses, and digital equipment. The workday is varied, and you will follow cases from start to finish, often in dialogue with both users and IT support.
You will work with:
- Permission administration and administration in operational systems during new and advanced employment
- Ordering and managing licenses, mobile apps, and software for computers
- Monitoring and following up on subscriptions
- Administration of IT accessories such as tablets, phones, and XR/VR technology
- Lifecycle management of tablets and phones
- Support to the operations by creating and following up on cases in IT support – especially in more complex situations
- Participation in workshops and training initiatives in the IT area
- Coordination of training, for example within Microsoft 365
- On-site support for managers and employees
- Participation in functional meetings and continuous collaboration within the team
The responsibilities may change over time to meet the needs of the operations.
Your Qualifications
Requirements
- High school education in a relevant field
- Driver's license (you will use a car for work)
Meritorious
- Education in IT administration

The Development Unit is part of the administration's staff and works on behalf of the head of administration. The unit's mission is to assist the administrative management in environmental monitoring, investigation, development, and follow-up assignments in matters of a cross-administrative nature.
We are 12 employees and one manager, with various specialist competencies in digitization/IT, operational planning, and follow-up in areas concerning quality, goals, internal control, and strategic competence development.
In the development unit, two positions are also organized that have municipality-wide assignments within functional rights and violence in close relationships.
The Social Administration works to provide support and help to children, young people, families, and people with disabilities or dependency problems. We also work with outreach and preventive measures. Fundamental for us is that we meet each other in a respectful manner – both our users and between us employees.
