Vidhögeskolan is a F-9 school with approximately 570 students and 85 staff. The school is located in the northern part of the municipality, right in the community of Veddige with good communication links both to Varberg and surrounding municipalities.

Our catchment area extends over a large geographical area, and we welcome students from Deromeskolan in grade 4. All classes have home classrooms with associated group rooms, and there are well-equipped special rooms for practical/aesthetic subjects. We also have Flex activities at the school. There are also good opportunities in the subject of sports as we have access to various sports halls and are close to an ice rink as well as an outdoor environment that promotes movement.

At our school, we believe that safety and well-being are important for both students and staff, and students at the school have access to student health staff every day of the week. Development projects that have been prioritized and are ongoing at the school include health and well-being as well as leadership and stimulation. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your responsibilities include:

• Teaching mathematics and science/technology in grades 4-6.
• Preparing, conducting, and evaluating your teaching. Starting from the students' needs and working with guidance and stimulation as well as extra adaptations in the classroom.
• Having mentor students and collaborating with colleagues and guardians. Having a relational and clear leadership as a foundation.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is in focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us at Varberg Municipality, you have a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for the students. By planning, conducting, and following up your varied teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions, and resting on science and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching degree and certification with the authority to teach mathematics and science/technology in grades 4-6.

Furthermore, you have:

• Knowledge and experience in meeting students with NPF.
• Knowledge of clear pedagogical practices.
