ICT Coach for the XpeRience Project

The mission of the Education and Labor Market Administration is to enhance individuals' opportunities to find work and become self-sufficient through education, internships, and employment.

Adult education offers courses and training in various ways based on individual needs. Adult education includes, among other things, upper secondary adult education, Swedish language training for immigrants, special education for adults, vocational training, higher vocational education, and learning center activities.

The XpeRience project belongs to adult education within the Education and Labor Market Administration and is driven within the framework of the administration's focus on skills supply.

In the project group, you will work with three full-time project managers, an administrator, and an ICT coach. Additionally, the project group consists of several colleagues from our partner organizations, with their working hours in the project varying from 10-50%.

The purpose of XpeRience is to develop VR-based exercises to support skills supply, focusing on mobility, interaction, and language. By developing and testing digital solutions, the project aims to contribute to new ways of strengthening professional competence and creating an understanding of how technology can be used in education and work life.

The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund and is conducted in close collaboration with Laholm Municipality, Varberg Municipality, Region Halland, and High Five.

Your Responsibilities

As an ICT coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting and leading collaborative learning as the project is introduced and developed. You will be a key person in helping both employees and partners understand, use, and feel comfortable with the new working methods that the project brings.

Together with your colleagues, you will work to identify existing needs so that skills development occurs at the right pace and in a way that fosters engagement and participation.

A significant part of the assignment is to plan and conduct workshops, training sessions, and introductions, both within the organization and in meetings with future participants and partners. In these contexts, you will help create curiosity, security, and understanding of the project's working methods, VR technology, and the opportunities it creates for learning and development.

By combining digital competence with pedagogical leadership, you contribute to building a culture where new tools and working methods become a natural part of lifelong learning and future skills supply.

Your Qualifications

To succeed in this role, a relevant post-secondary education in Pedagogy, IT, or equivalent competence acquired in another way is required. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a must.

We are looking for someone who can collaborate well with others and support colleagues and users in a pedagogical manner. The role requires you to communicate clearly, deliver presentations, and contribute to learning through support and guidance in the use of digital solutions.

We seek someone who is curious and has a solution-oriented mindset, is communicative, and enjoys collaborating with others. You should also like working with varied tasks and be able to adapt to different situations.

Experience working with Meta's products and VR headsets (e.g., the Quest series) and experience working in project form within digitalization or skills development is advantageous.

The position is a fixed-term employment for 10-14 months.
