As a teaching assistant in the individual programs, you work with educators around the students' learning and create good learning situations for the students in the various subject areas throughout the school day. You work to ensure that each student achieves the best possible knowledge results based on their conditions and needs.

To meet the students' needs, it is important that you, together with special educators and teachers, use clear pedagogical methods. You have close collaboration with special educators and teachers regarding the students' knowledge development so that each student can reach as far as possible in their knowledge development and preparations for adult life. Your tasks may vary throughout the week based on students' needs, so it is important that you, together with other members of the work team, are flexible and solution-focused. Work may take place in smaller classes or different classes, and the position may change over time based on the needs of the organization.
