A place where the vision becomes reality is Håsten's adapted primary school - part of the newly built Håsten School. Here, there are 13 classes within the adapted primary school for grades 1-9, as well as three after-school departments and a short-term supervision department within LSS.

The students have their own school environment but are also part of a larger 2-9 school, which provides access to modern facilities, shared resources, and a broad school community.

All pedagogical work is based on an individual perspective but often in groups, as communication is the core of learning.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in working in the adapted primary school. You are solution-focused with good collaboration skills and have the ability to communicate positively with students, colleagues, and guardians, creating good relationships.

As a teaching assistant with us, you will work with students during school hours, but primarily during after-school hours.

QUALIFICATIONS

High school education, Child and Leisure Program, or equivalent as assessed by the employer. Education and experience working with students with intellectual disabilities.

Experience working in the adapted primary school is an advantage, as is experience with clarifying pedagogy and sign language support and AAC.

• You should be able to work both individually and in groups, as well as plan and structure work with students/youths.
• You are solution-focused with good collaboration skills.
• You have the ability to communicate positively with both students, colleagues, and guardians, creating good relationships.
