The role of preschool teacher with us

In this role, you contribute to a culture of sharing where we together take responsibility, inspire, collaborate, and support each other. Together with your colleagues, you are expected to plan and implement, as well as analyze and evaluate the activities based on the school's governing documents.

The assignment as a preschool teacher means that you, together with the work team, are responsible for following the curriculum assignment, planning teaching situations, and documenting your reflections as a basis for active SKA work within the preschool.

Your profile

You are positive, flexible, and easily adapt to new situations and working methods. You have a reflective approach and are attentive to the children's needs. Together with your closest colleagues, you will plan, implement, analyze, and evaluate the educational work. Your response is professional towards children, guardians, and colleagues. You are happy to share previous lessons learned and successful ideas. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, as this is required in daily work. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability, ability to collaborate, and approach.

The preschool area of Onsala consists of the preschools Strannegården, Kaptensgården, Dannebacka, Rydet, and Iserås. We are close to nature, communication, and schools in the area as neighbors. We are now looking for a preschool teacher for Strannegården Preschool to develop the preschool's work towards the goals together with competent and motivated colleagues.

Everyone who visits the preschool should feel welcome, safe, and confirmed. We focus on ensuring that children have favorable relationships around them daily and that they exist in a safe and developing context. In our approach, we base ourselves on Relational pedagogy and guide the children in social interaction by respecting and listening to each other. We also place great importance on working with children's rights to participation and influence.

Our offer and other information

We offer a fixed-term employment of 50-80% with a start date of January 7 or by agreement and until July 7, 2026.
