Community Planning, Culture, and Public Health Administration (SKF)

is one of the country's broadest and most diversified administrations and includes seven units (Rescue Service, Environmental Unit, Planning and Building Unit, Technical Unit, Meal Unit, Culture Unit, and Leisure Unit) as well as an Administrative Staff. Our goal is to be a forward-leaning, change-oriented, and service-oriented administration that is held together by our joint development work and our striving to enhance each other in our respective professions. At SKF, we work at a fast pace with the broadest palette of municipal tasks, which requires our employees to look beyond their respective operations to contribute to a whole within the administration. In our operations, we respond to three political committees: the Community Planning Committee, the Culture & Public Health Committee, and the Conflict of Interest Committee.

The Culture School is a unit that belongs to Voluntary School Forms. The Culture School in Laholm is a voluntary activity that offers children and young people education in Arts and Media, Music, Performing Arts, and KomTek. The majority of the teaching takes place in the Culture School's own premises at Campus Laholm in the afternoons and evenings.

About the Position

Do you want to help shape the future Culture School? We are looking for someone with a primary focus on violin and who finds it stimulating to move freely between different artistic and technical expressions.

With us, you do not just teach – you actively participate in creative processes and productions together with students and colleagues. You will collaborate in teams and with other teachers in various constellations, both within our organization and with external actors such as high schools. We see it as a given that our teachers are part of a team where collaboration and interdisciplinary approaches are an important part of our identity. The Culture School is a strong and visible player in Laholm's cultural life. We are proud of our good reputation and are now looking for a colleague who wants to contribute both their expertise and their desire to develop the organization with us.

Are You the One We Are Looking For?

The requirements for the position are a music teacher education with qualifications to teach violin or another relevant education along with experience that is deemed equivalent.

We would prefer that you have experience teaching at a Culture School.

Good knowledge of Office365.
