Bläshammar School is located north of central Varberg in a quiet and leafy area. It is a F-6 school organized into grades F-2 and 3-6. The school's after-school care consists of four departments named Båten (grade 1), Havet (grade 2), Seglet (grade 2), and Fyren (grades 3-6).

The work at Bläshammar School is characterized by joy in work, safety, responsibility, and continuity. All staff actively work with preventive values-based work. There is also a student health team consisting of the principal, school nurse, counselor, school psychologist, special educator, and special teacher who work with student health issues, as well as an active and engaged parent association.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of after-school teacher at Bläshammar School, you will be responsible for the following:

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and lead after-school activities based on students' interests and needs.
• Always focus on the student and have a holistic view of their entire school day.
• Create good relationships with colleagues, students, and guardians.
• Support students' development in free situations before and after school, during breaks, transitions, and cloakrooms.
• Actively participate in the collaboration to develop the student's entire school day.
• Contribute to a good working environment for everyone at the workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a teaching license for after-school care or similar qualifications.
