The Role of Special Educator with Us

In the role of special educator with us, you will primarily be involved in developing our student health work together with the student health team, school management, and colleagues, to ensure equal education and accessible teaching.

You have an overall view of the students' conditions and the unit's pedagogical needs, and you observe both groups and individual students in classroom situations to create an understanding of the learning environment. The role also involves close collaboration with mentors and a clear division of labor to give each student the best possible conditions to succeed in their studies and eventually step out into the labor market, based on individual needs and conditions.

Your Profile

The right person for this assignment is a special educator who is unpretentious and has good collaboration skills, with a strong commitment to students' learning and development. You are solution-focused, work in a structured way, and are development-oriented. You have self-leadership and see opportunities in your work and dare to try new things. You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, as this is required in daily work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained special educator or has equivalent education that we can assess as equivalent.
• Has experience in conducting reading and writing investigations.
• Has experience in guiding staff to meet all students based on their needs.
