Lindbergs School is a F-9 school with just over 400 students and an after-school program with about 150 students. The school is beautifully located northeast of Varberg, 20 minutes from the center. Lindbergs School is characterized by a pleasant atmosphere with a focus on students' learning. We work to develop teaching through Subject Didactic Collegium (ÄDK) where we investigate the effects of teaching and what we need to change to improve students' goal fulfillment and meet all students' needs.

The school has a student health team with representation from all student health professions and supports educators in their student health work. We work with EHM conferences (conference time where student health professionals are represented in the work team) where we together highlight various success factors and challenges that we need to handle together.

Students experience a high degree of well-being at Lindbergs School, which is also something everyone strives to maintain. We regularly follow up on this through our well-being survey and see it as a natural part of our systematic quality work.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a teacher for instruction in a special education group and as a resource in the classroom. If necessary, you will also substitute in the classroom and in the after-school program.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership where the quality of teaching is in focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us at Varberg Municipality, you have a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you give students the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you will plan and follow up on teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to students' needs and conditions, and grounded in science and proven experience. You will meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a certified primary school teacher for grades 4-9. Special knowledge and experience with students with NPF are meritorious.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific principles with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the organization by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
