At Mariedal School, there are 5 after-school centers distributed across grades F-1, as well as grades 2 and 3. With us, you will work in a good team with knowledgeable and educated educators. We work with a language-developing and knowledge-developing approach. We are a school with a multicultural catchment area, which means we also work with clarifying pedagogy.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will work in one of our 5 departments as an after-school educator/teacher together with 2-3 other staff members. Working hours are scheduled for the afternoon. As an after-school educator, you understand that students develop and learn throughout the day, and you challenge the learning of each student based on age, maturity, needs, and interests. You are responsible for ensuring that the after-school center prevents physical ill health among students through creativity, movement, play, recreation, and rest, and together with students, guardians, colleagues, and principals, you work to meet each student in their development.

In your pedagogical leadership, you have the ability to structure your work, are attentive to students' knowledge development and need for support, and recognize the importance of working collegially towards common goals and visions in the development and improvement work of the after-school center and school. You test and reassess methods, reflect on your assignment based on scientific grounds and understanding of proven experience, and have an inclusive approach to meet all students and provide equal opportunities for knowledge and learning. Your approach is to meet, support, and challenge students in their development, and you work with an inclusive view of students. You work with student influence as a foundation in planning the activities.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license for teaching in after-school centers.
