About the Company

Abena is an international company with a strong focus on sustainability and a clear goal to be at the forefront of environmental issues, product development, and quality. In Kisa, we manufacture and develop products that improve people's daily lives – with care for both the user and the planet. We take pride in working with high environmental standards, clear goals, and certifications, and we continue to invest to strengthen our production and take the next step on our journey.

Your Responsibilities

As a production technician with us, you will have a broad and developing role where you work closely with production and are an important link between maintenance and operations. You will be the one who ensures that our machines operate as well as possible – both today and in the future. The role requires that you enjoy being involved in the daily operations in production while also working in a structured and long-term manner with improvements.

You will report to the maintenance manager and work closely with colleagues within production, technology, and quality. There is already a clear priority list for your initial tasks, which means you will have the opportunity to quickly step into the role and start making a difference. At the same time, we are investing in the continued development of the machinery, with new investments on the way.

What You Will Work On

In this role, you will analyze, develop, and streamline our production flows and work methods. You will get to know the machinery in depth, understand how the machines work, and how small improvements can have a large impact. You will work both practically and analytically – focusing on creating structure, efficiency, and sustainable working methods. The role also involves:

• following up on data regarding machine downtime and efficiency, and translating it into actions • developing and improving work instructions and routines • participating in the introduction of new products and processes • supporting the organization in the work with Lean and 5S • driving smaller improvement projects and collaborating with various functions

The role is during daytime hours. Some travel may occur in connection with investments, machine purchases, and supplier visits.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a technical background and experience from the manufacturing industry, preferably in a similar role. You thrive in an environment where you can collaborate closely with others, share knowledge, and create engagement around improvement work. To succeed, we believe you recognize yourself in the following:

• you have technical knowledge and an interest in machines and production • you are analytical and used to working in a structured manner with improvements • you have previously worked with Lean, 5S, or similar methodologies • you are comfortable in dialogue with others and can explain technology in a simple way • you take initiative and drive your work forward with good self-leadership

We place great importance on personal qualities and would like you to have a warm demeanor, create good relationships, and engage others in the journey.

Why Abena?

With us, you will find a workplace characterized by care, long-term thinking, and community. We value a family-like culture where we support each other, while also having a clear direction forward with high ambitions in quality, sustainability, and development. Here you will receive:

✔ a key role in a company that invests ✔ the opportunity to influence and contribute early in our development journey ✔ close and inclusive collaboration with colleagues throughout the organization ✔ security, stability, and a company that takes responsibility for people and the environment

Application Process

In this recruitment, Abena collaborates with Skill. The selection process will begin immediately after the application deadline on February 22nd.

As we want to ensure a fair and unbiased selection process, we do not wish for a personal letter, but rather for you to answer our initial selection questions. If you proceed, you will then receive an email with a link to our recruitment tests that objectively help us match the right person to the position.

If you have questions about the position or the recruitment process, please contact the responsible recruiter Andreas Schmidt at [email protected] or 0738-54 71 35. #LI-DNI
