About the role

As a designer here, you will be a central part of the development of future gas turbines. You will work with new designs, improvement work, and technical investigations, while supporting the qualification of components and suppliers. The role also includes analyzing manufacturing defects and participating in root cause analyses when problems arise in operation. You will be part of a team of designers and play a key role in the development projects you drive. The work is done closely with calculation engineers and other disciplines, where you are often the one who holds everything together. Your day-to-day work consists of CAD modeling, drawing work, technical discussions, and continuous problem-solving.   • Master's degree in mechanical engineering, technical physics, design, and product development or equivalent (bachelor's degree may be relevant with appropriate work experience)
  • A couple of years of experience in a relevant field
  • Good knowledge of English
Preferred qualifications for the position
  • Experience with CAD work, preferably Siemens NX
  • Previously worked as a designer or in product development
  • Experience from the manufacturing industry
  • Strong technical interest, especially in mechanics or engine-related systems
  • Experience/knowledge of handling component machining
  • Swedish spoken and written
