About the role As a flow architect, you will play a key role in developing and optimizing production flows. Your main focus will be to create efficient, sustainable, and cost-optimized processes that contribute to increased capacity and profitability in production. In this role, you will work on creating and optimizing layouts for various production areas, ensuring that each space is used efficiently and supports a smooth flow. You will conduct thorough flow analyses and map the current situation to understand how the processes work today and where potential obstacles arise. Based on these insights, you will develop improvement proposals – ranging from minor adjustments to larger and more strategic investments in, for example, new machines or entirely new factories. In this role, you are expected to:

  • Develop and improve production flows and processes – from current state analysis to implemented solution.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies on the market and assess how they can contribute to strengthening the production flow.
  • Work with lean methodology to eliminate waste and create efficient working methods.
  • Ensure cost-effectiveness – find solutions that are economically sustainable and meet the needs of the business.

About you

Required qualifications:

  • Relevant education at least at the university level in fields such as industrial economics, mechanical engineering, or equivalent education.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a flow architect or in a similar role.
  • Solid experience with Lean principles.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • Swedish citizenship.

Meritorious:

  • Experience from another leading industrial company in flow design or layout work.
  • Documented experience in flow optimization, layout changes, or capacity calculations.
  • Ability to demonstrate clear, measurable results from previous assignments.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD.
