Your Role

As a quality engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process and solving arising problems in close collaboration with other functions. You will ensure and drive root cause analyses and manage other quality issues. In this role, you will have a large network and will utilize various quality tools available. You will also ensure traceability, processes, and results during the manufacturing flow with the help of production management and supply chain.

You will be responsible for supporting operators to do the right thing, developing parts of the documentation for product and process verification (FAI). Your responsibilities also include assisting in assessing deviations and ensuring the results of rework. You are the customer's eye and, if necessary, you can block incorrect materials and conduct re-inspections.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in quality work along with good experience in quality tools. You have previous experience from industrial manufacturing and an understanding of order and structure. It is an advantage if you have prior experience in product development as well as working with requirements management and the creation of technical documentation.

We envision that you have a relevant technical education and several years of work experience where you have developed your knowledge in the quality and production area. For the role, you need to have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

In this role, you will work both in groups and independently in a dynamic environment with parallel projects and exciting new technology. You need to thrive in a solution-oriented way of working, and good quality and structure should permeate your work.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
