We are currently looking for someone who wants to be a part of our team and work as a personal assistant for our 13-year-old client in Nya Hovås, Gothenburg.
The position is a part-time job as needed, which may lead to a permanent position. Working hours are evenings, nights (with standby) and weekends. What does this position entail?
We are looking for a cheerful and positive person with a twinkle in their eye. Previous experience in personal assistance or other care professions is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important thing is that you have the right personality to work well with the client. You must be attentive, flexible, and responsible.
The client is deaf and communicates in sign language. Therefore, it is advantageous if you know sign language or at least signs as support. The most important thing is that you are interested and curious to learn!
Examples of tasks include: assistance during meals, escorting, personal hygiene, play and fun, accompanying on activities, etc.

We are looking for someone who is engaged, respectful, and attentive. We prefer that you have great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally.
We would like you to:
have a genuine interest in helping others.
be able to communicate in Swedish verbally with colleagues, relatives, and the operations manager.
have experience as a personal assistant or childcare worker.
the client prefers that the applicant is a woman.

Additional Information
Employment type: Hourly employment with the possibility of as long as the assistance assignment lasts.
Scope: As agreed
Working hours: Weekdays from 15:40 to 22:00 or from 22:00 to 07:45 (with sleeping on-call)
Weekends: from 08:00 to 16:00, from 08:00 to 17:00, from 16:00 to 22:00, from 17:00 to 22:00 or from 22:00 to 08:00
Start date: As agreed

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
Before a possible employment, you must be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
