About the assignment

We are now looking for a driven junior finance assistant/accounting assistant for a consulting assignment with our client in central Stockholm. The assignment focuses on accounts receivable (AR) and credit collection related to the client's French operations, combined with broader support to the finance function.

The client is undergoing a system transition, where core competencies and precision are in place but there is currently a capacity need during a transition period.

Tasks

In the role, you will work with:

• Accounts receivable (AR)
• Follow-up and collection of outstanding customer receivables
• Credit collection, including contact with customers (mainly international/French)
• Support in ongoing finance and other recurring tasks within the finance function
• Collaboration with existing resources within AR, project accounting, and ongoing accounting

The role is practical, operational, and broad, with significant responsibility within the AR area.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is newly graduated or at the beginning of their career in finance, preferably with a focus on accounting or accounts receivable, and who wants to build practical experience in a business-oriented role.

We would like you to:

• Have basic knowledge of accounting and accounts receivable
• Be meticulous, structured, and responsible
• Enjoy following up, communicating, and driving matters to completion
• Be comfortable with English in speech and writing
• Have an interest in and preferably some understanding of international business

French is an advantage but not a requirement. The important thing is that you are confident in dialogue, professional in your approach, and willing to understand how business and payment flows work in a French context.
