Administrator for the City of Stockholm Cemetery Administration, Booking and Grave Rights Unit

The Cemetery Administration of Stockholm is responsible for burial services in the city. The administration operates burial and service activities with high ethical standards and is responsible for 12 cemeteries, 13 chapels, a ceremony building, and 2 crematoria with significant cultural and historical value.
The unit consists of 17 administrators and case officers working with administrative tasks related to booking assignments, authority exercises, and maintenance administration. Our workplace is located in Palmfelt Center, near Globen, with good transportation links.

Are you a driven and structured case officer? Are you attracted to development work in a socially important mission?
We are currently looking for two case officers for our booking and grave rights unit. The unit is responsible for handling cases related to the administration's grave book and authority exercises concerning grave rights. It is within this assignment that we are now seeking two case officers.
For some time now, we have been working on a development project aimed at reviewing our case handling routines and working methods. We aim for our working methods to be digital, efficient, and accurate concerning the customer groups we work with daily.
The position is varied and involves both administrative work and contact with parties in cases.

Your role
As a case officer in the booking and grave rights unit, you will be responsible together with your colleagues for:
- investigating and making decisions regarding cases related to grave rights based on applicable legislation, primarily the Burial Act and the Administrative Procedure Act.
- handling cases concerning grave rights ownership.
- providing information and service to the public and partners via phone, email, and visits.
- working in operational systems and registers.
- contributing to the development of routines and working methods within the unit.
The unit's mission spans booking, authority exercises, and maintenance administration. Documentation is carried out in the operational systems Aveny and eDok.
Your qualifications and experience
We see that you have:
- Post-secondary education
- Experience working with case handling.
- Interest in development work related to quality assurance, digitization, and case handling routines.
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Enjoy working both independently and in a team
- Good collaboration skills while being self-driven in your work, meticulous, and taking responsibility for structuring, planning, and prioritizing your tasks effectively.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience in investigation and case handling within public administration and familiarity with working in operational systems for case management and handling.
- Knowledge of the Burial Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, and the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act.
The work requires accuracy, good structure, and a professional demeanor.
