Your new job

The housing support group is part of the social psychiatry unit. The group currently consists of 10 employees. We are expanding our team and are now looking for a housing supporter. This is a newly established position as the operation develops and more customers are welcomed.

We are looking for someone who sees opportunities, has a positive view of people, and a strong commitment to helping others. The work requires you to be responsible and have personal maturity. You are a secure and stable person. You collaborate well with others and relate to customers in a responsive and flexible manner.

As a housing supporter, you will support customers based on their individual needs and provide assistance from a pedagogical approach. Together with the customer, you will work towards the goal of helping them achieve an independent life. You will provide support both at home and outside the home. There will be solitary work as you will work independently with customers. The work is carried out both in central Åkersberga and outside the central areas, including Ljusterö.

You are expected to be engaged and find ways to ensure that the methods used always provide customers with high-quality support. You are also expected to be a flexible team player who sees all customers in the unit as your responsibility.

As a housing supporter, you will be responsible for:

• Planning and developing work together with other colleagues.
• Establishing and following up on implementation plans.
• Writing social documentation.
• Reporting completed hours.
• Performing housing support together with customers based on their needs.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in health and care work, such as housing support or home care. You should have at least a nursing assistant education with psychiatric competence or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have basic knowledge of psychiatry and neuropsychiatry. It is an advantage if you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI).

You should have basic computer skills and experience with social documentation.

A driver's license is required, as well as good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

The work requires you to be self-sufficient but also appreciate working in a team. As a person, you are solution-focused and responsible. You are skilled at creating and maintaining good relationships. You have excellent collaboration skills with authorities, case managers, and other partners. We place great value on personal suitability.
