Apply to us! We are looking for a social worker for a permanent position starting in March.

We are a group of dedicated social workers in the Reception Unit for financial assistance. The unit is part of the area of Work and Support, RVT, which consists of about 30 employees in total.

The Reception Unit consists of a total of 12 employees, of which 6 work with reception and new visits led by a team leader. We also handle budget and debt counseling as well as eviction prevention work. We have social workers who work with housing and integration for newcomers. There are also 2 administrators in the unit. We have an intensive development effort and receive support from method developers in this work. We are developing, among other things, increased collaboration with partners, such as healthcare and job centers.

As a new employee in the Reception Unit, you will receive introduction and case management support. All employees are seen as a prerequisite and resource for the good work we carry out and develop. A wellness allowance of 3000 SEK per year is provided.

Your role

We are looking for someone who is curious, engaged, and positive and who understands the complexity of the assignment. In the assignment for financial assistance, this includes receiving new applications, investigating, and assessing the right to financial assistance.

As a social worker in the reception, you play a crucial role in identifying clients' needs, and collaboration between internal and external actors is therefore an important part of the work. Investigations are conducted using the Initial Assessment Instrument and involve many phone contacts and personal meetings. The pace is sometimes high as several complicated but exciting cases may come in.

In the reception, we receive temporary applications from people with short-term needs for financial assistance or those with a more long-term need for financial assistance. Clients assessed to have a long-term need are called for new visits.

Documentation, legal security, and good treatment are important parts of our work. Home visits are also included to establish belonging.

Your qualifications and experience

You have a degree in social work and previous experience working in social services and case management of financial assistance. It is also a requirement that you have worked in the reception for financial assistance. Experience with Stockholm City's Umbrella System is an advantage.

We are looking for someone who is professional, structured, relationship-building, communicative, and has good collaboration skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Start date according to agreement. Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period.
