The Social Administration of the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the area of disabilities. Here, we create good conditions to meet residents in need of social services support. In close cooperation with the district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, legally secure, equal, and knowledge-based social service, and we have a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures is offered to the city's residents, and the range changes based on the needs of Stockholmers and the wishes of the district administrations. The work often takes place in close collaboration with other authorities, civil society, and the business community. The Social Administration is also responsible for the city's serving and tobacco permits and conducts supervision.

The area of expertise in disabilities and social psychiatry consists of three units. We are a team with broad competence in social services and the area of disabilities working with overarching assignments and projects to support the city's social services. Here, among others, investigators, project managers, and caseworkers work.

We are now looking for more colleagues for the central placement unit. Our office is located in the pleasant Farsta Centrum, close to the subway, restaurants, and shopping, making it easy to get here.

Your role

As a contract administrator, you will work closely with both the units of the social administration, the city's district administrations, and external providers, which means your daily work is characterized by many points of contact and varied tasks.

In the role, you and your team are responsible for establishing structures and working methods for the new function. In collaboration with placement administrators, you will support the processing of incoming placement requests from the district administrations, which includes both placement requests and price negotiations with external providers. You will be responsible for the contracts, their documentation and requirements, and you will follow up on the contracts through visits to the operations. This may include travel both in the local area and other parts of Sweden.

Through continuous dialogue with both providers and district administrations, you work to ensure quality and good results.

Your competence and experience

To thrive and succeed in the role of contract administrator, we believe you are structured and proactive. You have a long-term perspective and can work strategically while managing complex and time-consuming processes with calm and stability. Furthermore, you are communicative, relationship-building, and enjoy creating good collaborations both internally and externally. You are comfortable working both independently and in teams.

We are looking for you who have:

  • Degree in social work, law education, or other relevant higher education
  • Experience in contract follow-up according to LoU of external providers for housing
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and experience in negotiations
  • Experience as a purchaser of housing interventions
  • Experience with difficult placements within individual and family care or LSS.

It is meritorious if you have:

  • Experience from provider operations within HVB or special housing within LSS, preferably in a managerial position
  • Experience as a purchaser of housing interventions within the City of Stockholm's organization
  • Familiarity with the City of Stockholm's level assessments and compensation systems
  • Law education.
