We at Hagvidson Ekot preschool are currently looking for staff for a longer temporary position. We are also looking for substitute teachers who can come in at short notice.

Do you want to work at a preschool that actively works with sustainable development, spends a lot of time outdoors, and consciously works with small groups of children? Then you are welcome to apply to us. At Hagvidson Ekot, we work in smaller groups for most of the day. Each group has a clear structure that is followed daily. The preschool has three age-divided departments: Smultron for children aged 1-3 years, Päron for children aged 3-4 years, and Äpplen for children aged 4-5 years. We place great emphasis on language, children's influence, and parental participation.

The children's interests are taken into account and form the basis of our activities. Our guiding principles are Safety, Participation, and Joy, which permeate the entire operation. You are expected to actively participate in the preschool's planned activities, where children's learning and interests are the focus.

Outdoor education, project work, and Green Flag are prioritized areas for us. We grow our own food and compost our food waste.

We have our own chef at the preschool who prepares good and nutritious meals from scratch.

About you

• You are secure, positive, calm, and respectful in your interactions with children, educators, and parents.
• You want to develop and be challenged together with children and educators.
• You are flexible, proactive, cooperative, responsible, punctual, and able to handle stress.
• You contribute to an open, social climate.
• You ensure that all meetings are good meetings, among other things by being secure, respectful, engaged, and attentive.
• You understand the importance of engaged and participating parents in children's everyday lives at preschool.
• You are well-versed in the curriculum.
• You enjoy working project-oriented, both indoors and outdoors throughout the year. The project work is then followed up through documentation.
• You will work with all tasks that arise as an educator in the preschool.

The position is to work on an hourly basis as needed.
