We are now looking for an experienced Business Controller on behalf of our client for an interim assignment within banking/finance. The assignment is a temporary position during parental leave and is suitable for someone who is confident in the role, analytically sharp, and accustomed to being a close support to management and business.

The assignment is placed within Finance & Accounting, and you will report directly to the CFO.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate, relevant, and business-oriented financial information. You will contribute with analysis, structure, and decision support in an organization where quality, accuracy, and collaboration are crucial.

• Responsibility for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing
• Ongoing financial reporting to management and operations
• Analysis of results, deviations, and key figures
• Cost and budget follow-up
• Management and follow-up of supplier invoices
• Support and advice to the business in financial matters
• Contribute to the development and improvement of financial processes and routines
• Requirements specification in connection with development initiatives (if needed)

You will be part of a team of four people within Finance & Accounting, including the manager. The work is carried out in close collaboration with both the business and the group – here, dialogue, accountability, and humility are valued.

• Has at least 5 years of experience as a Business Controller within banking or finance
• Has a good understanding of lending and leasing operations
• Is used to working with and improving financial processes
• Has experience with Cognos Controller, Planning Analytics, Medius, and E1
• Ideally has experience with analytical tools and an interest in data-driven approaches
• Is confident, self-driven, and enjoys being an advisory team player

Competence level: 
Very high independence, solid experience from larger assignments, and the ability to take primary responsibility.
