Receptionist Extra for Birka Gotland

Do you want to be part of our wonderful team as a receptionist extra at Birka Gotland?

Birka Gotland is the new, exciting leisure cruise ship in the Baltic Sea that offers relaxation and experiences for everyone.

The ship is owned by Gotland Alandia Cruises, founded in 2023 in collaboration between Viking Line and Gotlandsbolaget.

We regularly cruise between Stockholm, Mariehamn, and Visby and arrange exciting destination cruises.

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, cooperative, and spreads joy to both passengers and colleagues.

You have good concentration skills, can handle different situations, and juggle multiple tasks at the same time.

We want you to strive to exceed our customers' expectations with warmth and humility.

Your daily tasks include making announcements, radio communication, handling the switchboard, lost property management, ticket and cabin sales, and providing customer service at our reception desk, which is open 24/7.

Experience as a receptionist is required, and you need to have excellent language skills in Swedish and English; other languages are a bonus.

Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application date of February 28, 2026.

The position is extra as needed and is planned to start in March 2026 or by agreement.

It is fantastic to be flexible with different working hours during the week and weekends, as there will be day and night shifts available.
