About the role

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an accountant who wants to be part of an engaged and helpful finance team. You will work operationally with accounting from start to finish, including invoicing, ongoing bookkeeping, reconciliations, and participation in year-end closing work.

The role also involves handling incoming support requests from both customers and colleagues, providing many points of contact and requiring a good sense of service. You will also contribute to improvement and development work, focusing on effective system use and process improvements.

The company's office is located in central Uppsala.

• Invoicing

• Ongoing bookkeeping and account and bank reconciliations

• Monthly closing, responsible for own accounts

• Participate in year-end and annual report work

• Handling customer inquiries and acting as an internal service function

• Contribute to improvement work related to systems and processes

We are looking for someone with an education in finance and a few years of experience in accounting, either from an accounting firm or from an in-house finance department. You have a good understanding of the accounting flow and thrive in environments where large volumes are handled. You have an interest in systems and find it easy to familiarize yourself with new technical solutions.
