Your workplace

At Torsby Hospital (https://www.regionvarmland.se/regionvarmland/halsa--vard/kontakt-med-varden/sjukhuset-torsby), there are three care departments, and we have a close collaboration and work as needed in both departments based on one. The hospital is clinic-less, so you will gain broad knowledge in patient care.

On the wards, we work in teams around the patients.

The sense of community is always present, and all units play a central role in the work with and around our patients. We are a small hospital in northern Värmland with a big heart and commitment to our patients and employees, where all units and partners are highlighted as an important part of the hub for the work to flow smoothly and safely for those who visit us. Good collaboration between units, short decision-making paths, and close contact with the management team are characteristics of us.

At the hospital, we care about the health and well-being of our staff, and we have access to our own staff gym and a personal trainer. In your work on the ward, you will participate in the hospital's new transition to a resource-efficient organization where the working environment of the care staff is the focus.

Your tasks

On ward 64, nurses work night shifts in teams together with a nursing assistant. There are two teams at night working with the patients. As a night nurse, you will be responsible for, among other things, medication management, nursing work, and various medical technical procedures.

With us, you have the opportunity for a mixed position between day and night. Only night shifts can also be offered. You will receive individual onboarding, and if you are a newly graduated nurse, the clinical development program (https://regionvarmland.se/regionvarmland/jobb-utbildning--forskning/jobba-med-oss/ny-hos-oss/kliniskt-utvecklingsprogram) is included during your first year.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. It is important for you to meet people in a friendly and respectful manner. You are structured and solution-focused. Additionally, you easily adapt to changing circumstances, collaborate in teams, but also work independently.
