The Kil Health Center has nearly 12,000 registered patients and about 35 employees.

We are a well-functioning health center with experienced and dedicated staff.

We are a wonderful group that truly enjoys working together and cares for one another! The health center is beautifully located about 20 kilometers north of Karlstad and has good transport connections, with both bus and train options available.

Our team consists of experienced general practitioners, residents, interns, and medical students who are placed with us. We have good staffing with district nurses and registered nurses, some with expertise in diabetes, heart failure, asthma/COPD, and dementia. We have a well-functioning counseling service with social workers. Furthermore, our team includes nursing assistants, medical administrators, foot care therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and custodians who work both independently and in close collaboration with the team.

The health center also has a physiotherapy clinic, maternal and child health care (BMM), child health care (BVC), and a laboratory. We work from a health-promoting perspective regarding the work environment, offering wellness benefits and planned wellness time when the operations allow.

We work in the Cosmic journal system.

The health center now has the opportunity to welcome new residents to our medical team while ensuring good supervision.

As a resident, you will have a defined assignment and be part of a team together with your supervisor and other professional categories. You will have allocated time for studies and supervision according to a common planning.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who is interested in or has already started their residency in general medicine. The responsibilities include both acute and planned outpatient care.

We also staff maternal and child health care (MVC/BVC), youth clinics, nursing homes, and home care, so these are areas you will gain experience in. The work is varied and stimulating, as we have patients of all ages with diverse medical backgrounds. You will receive guidance and support from experienced colleagues specializing in general medicine to help you develop and gain experience for your future work as a specialist.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed physician with an interest in the breadth and variation of general medicine.

We place great importance on having good collaboration skills, a structured approach to work, and taking responsibility for your tasks and assignments. We value your personal qualities and would like you to have good empathetic abilities, stability, and a desire to work together with all professional categories.
