The Unit for Stress-Related Illness conducts rehabilitation for individuals with the aim of improving health, increasing activity and functional ability, and returning to work.

We cater to patients at risk of repeated short-term sick leave or longer periods of sick leave. Referrals are made from primary care. After our assessment of the patient, treatment primarily takes place in groups where we work collaboratively and multidisciplinary. In cases where the patient cannot benefit from group treatment, we create individual plans. Our team consists of doctors, psychologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and healthcare administrators.

The work climate in our unit is characterized by collaboration, commitment to the target group, and we support each other across professional boundaries. We are looking for a team member who wants to contribute to our operations and the developmental focus we have moving forward.

Your Responsibilities

As an occupational therapist with us, you will work to help patients achieve the best possible activity and functional ability. Treatments are conducted both individually and in groups and can be performed through physical visits and remote contacts when appropriate. You will participate in referral assessments together with doctors and the rest of the team. The assignment with us is under development, and we need your expertise to further shape the occupational therapy component in conjunction with the rest of the team. You will work closely with the rest of the team and be important in our development work within the unit.

Your Skills/Competencies

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist with a strong interest in mental health and stress management. You have experience working independently in your profession and structuring your approach to treatment in both individualized treatment plans and group therapy. It is an advantage if you have completed the ReDO course and if you have experience working with patients in our target group and/or within psychiatry.
