Your Workplace

The Speech Therapy Unit in Värmland is a regional organization consisting of outpatient clinics in Karlstad, Arvika, Torsby, Kristinehamn, and Säffle. We also work with inpatient care in Karlstad, Arvika, and Torsby. Here, you will find an interesting and varied job where you work both independently and together with colleagues.

A strength of our workplace is that we have several speech therapists with different experiences and competencies who can provide each other with collegial support. As a speech therapist with us, you have the opportunity to broaden your skills but also to specialize in a specific area of speech therapy.

This position offers placement either in Karlstad or Kristinehamn. Travel during working hours a few days a week to one of our speech therapy clinics in Värmland is included in this position, regardless of placement location.

Your Responsibilities

You will work with assessment and treatment in the voice and neuro areas, as well as, if necessary, other diagnostic groups based on the needs of the organization.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed speech therapist with experience in voice issues and neurogenic communication and swallowing difficulties. As a person, you have a good ability to independently plan, organize, and prioritize your work while enjoying collaborating with others. You work in a structured manner and have a holistic perspective, which makes it easy for you to act in the best interest of the organization.
