Join the Development of the Swedish Armed Forces and Make a Difference – While Doing What You Are Interested In!

We are looking for someone who wants to work with the whole process from requirement specification together with the organization to integration with system developers and further to deployment with the operations organization.

Here you have the chance to develop and gain broad IT experience with a focus on system integration.

About the Unit

The System Management Unit, SFE, manages the Swedish Armed Forces' IT systems for information management. The systems managed by the unit are within the areas of HR, finance, management and control, logistics, staff support systems, oversight, and integrations.

About the Section

The System Integration Section is responsible for the management and development of the Armed Forces' integration solutions. The section covers the entire chain from solution proposals to development and deployment. We also provide second and third line support for the solution.

The work involves improving, making changes, providing user support, maintaining, and monitoring the external environment. The work is performed to ensure that the systems contribute as effectively as possible to the organization and maintain throughout the entire lifecycle.

Main Responsibilities

The role of system manager within the System Integration Section involves technical management of the Armed Forces' integration platforms. You will work independently but in a team so that you have help and support from your colleagues.

Main tasks include maintaining and managing the IT systems for integration and system-to-system communication that the section is responsible for by troubleshooting, modifying, installing, and deploying, as well as documenting the section's integration solutions and systems. Monitoring the external environment and developing new functionalities are included, as well as lifecycle management of current solutions and systems.

To succeed, you need to have an open attitude, a high level of service, and a willingness to seek collaboration even outside the section. You also need to have the ability to see opportunities for improvements based on the organization's goals and contribute to driving these. The work is performed on-site in our facilities in Enköping, and travel for work may occur.

As a junior system manager, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through courses and training to continuously grow in your role as a system manager within system integration. Other members of the section will support you so that you can take on an increasingly independent responsibility as an integration specialist in various assignments and projects.

Personal Qualities

You are quality- and security-conscious. Naturally, you are meticulous and deliver high quality in your work. The role involves collaborating both within and outside your own unit, so it is important that you are unpretentious and have a good ability to create collaborations as well as take your own initiatives.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
