Job Responsibilities
As an Information Security Coordinator, you will be part of the staff unit, which is a part of the Department of Economy, Planning, and Analysis.
The unit consists of administrative functions with specific areas of expertise. The work is based on a holistic perspective with responsibility for securing the Culture Administration's processes regarding information security. The security function consists of a security strategist, a security coordinator, and you as the Information Security Coordinator.
As an Information Security Coordinator, you have a central and strategic role in the administration's work with information and cyber security. You participate in planning, follow-up, and development of security work based on the goals of the municipal council, the city's joint development, the administration's ambitions, and the needs of the operations.
You are responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the administration's information security work from the development of strategies, guidelines, and routines to providing practical and pedagogical support in the form of advice, training, and guidance to managers and employees. An important part of the assignment is to translate complex regulations and security requirements into understandable and applicable practices in the operations.
In the role, you develop and manage the management system for information security and ensure that governing documents, routines, and working methods are followed in a uniform and quality-assured manner. The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues within the department and other parts of the administration.
You coordinate the work, drive joint processes, and contribute to a long-term and well-established information security effort throughout the organization.
Qualifications
You have a post-secondary education in information security and/or cyber security or other education deemed suitable by the employer, as well as experience in strategic work with information security, risk analyses, and incident management. If you have also worked with data protection, it is considered an advantage. Furthermore, it is also advantageous if you have experience working within a municipality, region, or other public authority.
You have a good understanding of how information and/or cyber security work is conducted in a larger organization and the ability to work both strategically and operationally. In addition, you have an understanding of, and preferably experience in, development and improvement work within information and cyber security.
To succeed in the role, we also see that you are meticulous and structured, with the ability to work methodically and long-term with complex issues. You have a collaborative and attentive approach and enjoy working together with different functions and operations.
You are pedagogical and communicative, with a good ability to explain regulations, requirements, and security issues in a clear and understandable way. You can also adapt communication to different target groups and operational conditions. You take responsibility for your and the group's tasks, do your best, and follow up on the results.
