Accountant/Controller (50/50)

Role Description

As an accountant/controller with us, you will have a broad and developing role in a growing company with both production and e-commerce. You will work closely with the financial manager and be an important part of our efforts to ensure accurate figures, efficient processes, and good governance of the business.

The position combines ongoing accounting with analysis and follow-up of the business's results and key figures. You thrive in a role where you can switch between detailed bookkeeping and a holistic understanding of finance, production, and inventory flows.

Responsibilities

Accounting (approx. 50%) / Controlling (approx. 50%)

Accounting

• Ongoing bookkeeping
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Invoicing and payments
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Payroll management
• Handling of expenses and travel expenses
• Time reporting
• Monthly accruals
• Supporting documentation for VAT and tax declarations
• Monthly financial closing
• Support in year-end closing work

Controlling

• Follow-up of sales, costs, and gross margin
• Monthly reports and analysis for management
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Calculation and follow-up of key figures (inventory turnover, contribution margin, delivery precision, etc.)
• Project follow-up and cost analysis
• Support for managers in financial matters
• Contribute to the improvement of financial processes and routines
• Data collection and reports from the business system

Requirements – Education & Experience

• Post-secondary education in finance, accounting, business administration, or similar
• 3 years of experience in finance/accounting (e.g., finance assistant, accounting assistant)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Detail-oriented, structured, and analytical
• Good knowledge of Excel
• Experience working in business systems, preferably in a manufacturing or trading environment
• Communicates clearly and collaborates well with others
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

• Experience in inventory or production-related finance
• Knowledge of controlling and reporting
• Experience from small or medium-sized companies
• Experience in logistics, component trading, or industry
• Experience in e-commerce or ERP systems for trading/production
