Do you want to work with us?
Are you passionate about making a difference and driven to support, guide, and motivate individuals towards self-sufficiency? Then you might be the one we are looking for.
The Employment Unit (AME) in Finspång municipality consists of 17 employees. We actively work to empower individuals in need of various interventions and support to achieve or approach self-sufficiency through work and/or studies. The target group at AME is individuals aged 18–67 who receive financial assistance from Finspång municipality. At AME, the interventions focus on practical work training and internships combined with theoretical support and assistance in job searching. We have team leaders and supervisors linked to various activities. In addition, there are employment coordinators who support individuals individually towards work and/or studies.
This position is about individual support and will not be tied to any specific activity.
The work is focused on personal development through progress towards work and self-sufficiency. The focus is on getting individuals active in need- and individual-adapted activities and supporting them while they are active. We place great importance on the social and motivational aspects.
What can we offer you?
As an employment coordinator, you will guide, support, and lead individuals towards self-sufficiency. This may involve coordinated support during work training and internships at the employment unit and at other units and companies depending on the individual's needs. Therefore, we prefer that you have an easy time making contacts in the labor market and can build relationships with businesses. You will be responsible for mapping the individual's needs, providing individual, cohesive support in progress towards work/studies. Together with the individual, you will create a cohesive and clear planning that you continuously follow up and adapt based on the individual's needs with the goal of approaching the labor market. You will have both internal and external contacts with authorities, healthcare, etc., depending on the individual's needs.
We expect you to have experience in social work, experience working with people, and meeting them at their individual level where some have shorter and others longer paths into the labor market. We also prefer that you have experience working with individuals with reduced work capacity and/or disabilities and that you can adapt your communication style. You support progress, notice support needs, and follow up on developments that occur. We see that you need to have the ability to work in long processes and maintain focus on planning. We work with systematic follow-up together with social workers who formulate the assignments we work on. We expect you to have experience in handling documentation and following guidelines regarding this.
The position is a permanent position belonging to the Employment Unit, and the content of the position may vary with different employment interventions provided at our unit.
