About Us

Risingegården is a residential care home (HVB) that accommodates girls aged 12 to 20 with psychosocial and/or neuropsychiatric issues, self-harming behavior, abuse issues, and risk behaviors related to substance abuse, violence, and crime. Risingegården works with treatment, outpatient care, and supported housing.

Working with young people is one of the most important and rewarding things one can do. With nearly 30 years in the industry, we have the experience, we are well-established, and we have a good reputation while the drive to develop and improve is always present. To enhance our own attentiveness and ability to engage positively, all staff are trained in MBT – Mentalization-Based Treatment and in the Guiding Interaction/ICDP program.

On-call Treatment Provider

We have a continuous need for on-call staff throughout the year, although the demand is particularly high during the summer. As an on-call treatment provider, you will help plan and participate in the daily activities of the youth, provide support in their daily lives, and work therapeutically based on individual implementation plans and goals. You will also actively engage in documentation, such as record-keeping. Working hours are varied; days, evenings, weekends, and nights with sleeping on-call duties. Awake nights may also be required as needed.

We have three different treatment units; one larger unit with up to six residents and two smaller units with one or two residents each.

We prefer that you, as an applicant for this position, are a secure and stable person with a positive outlook on life. You are engaged and attentive with a low-arousal approach. Previous experience working with youth is preferred, and you should have a few years' age difference from our youth. A driver's license (B) is required.

Education Requirements

We are looking for someone who has an ongoing – or preferably completed – post-secondary education of at least two years, or an education deemed equivalent. Your education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or equivalent, such as treatment pedagogue or social pedagogue.
