About the role

We at Scania Industrial Maintenance (Scania IM) are now looking for a Senior Business Developer for Maintenance Logistics to strengthen our operations.

As a Senior Business Developer with us, you will have a broad and significant role. You will lead larger projects, analyses, and investigations within our logistics function and in the flows where Scania IM operates, which includes both Scania IM and Scania CV. The role involves working both operationally and strategically to develop and streamline the operations.

Your main responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex projects within maintenance logistics

• Identify areas for improvement and drive improvement initiatives in close collaboration with the business

• Drive the development of processes, working methods, and digital solutions that strengthen our long-term competitiveness

• Collaborate cross-functionally on common strategic initiatives

• Act as an advisor and support to management

You will report directly to our Logistics Manager and become an important part of a team.

Who are you

In terms of your experience, we see that you have a relevant university degree and work experience that matches this senior role. You have good theoretical and practical competence in maintenance, logistics, as well as investigation and project work. We see that you have experience in project management and several previous leadership positions.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You have previous experience in maintenance, maintenance logistics, and/or logistics and good knowledge of Scania's work and decision-making processes. You are used to driving complex issues independently and have experience and a good ability to work with senior decision-makers.

Who are we

The mission of Maintenance Logistics primarily involves handling spare parts, production tools, and supplies, including everything related to inventory management and operational purchasing as well as logistics development.

The department currently consists of five groups covering Södertälje, Oskarshamn, and Luleå.
