Handyman with Technical Interest

Are you handy, service-oriented, and comfortable in an office environment? Do you enjoy moving furniture, fixing what’s broken, and helping colleagues in their daily tasks – preferably with a bit of technology involved? Then this could be the right role for you.

About the Role

As a Handyman, you will work with practical, office-based tasks that contribute to a pleasant and functional workplace. The role is operational, social, and varied, with a focus on service and support in the daily office environment.

Responsibilities

• Moving and rearranging office spaces
• Assembly and adjustment of office furniture
• Preparation of workstations (desks, chairs, screens, cabling)
• Basic technical support on-site (screens, troubleshooting, docking stations, meeting rooms)
• Maintaining order and general “fixing and solving” in the office environment
• Contact and coordination with FM/suppliers as needed
• Ensuring that the office feels functional, tidy, and welcoming

We are looking for someone who

• Is practical and enjoys hands-on work
• Has experience in a similar role (handyman, office support, janitor, internal service)
• Has a technical interest and basic understanding of office technology/meeting technology
• Is service-oriented, solution-focused, and unpretentious
• Enjoys helping others and taking initiative
• Has good collaboration and communication skills

Meritorious

• Experience with office relocations or activity-based offices
• Very good proficiency in Teams and Windows
