JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to work as a medical secretary with us at Carlanderska Healthcare Center!

Since September 2025, Carlanderska Healthcare Center has been located in completely new premises at Eklandagatan 80, alongside BVC and Carlanderska Rehab. Here, new opportunities are created for both patients and employees, and with us, you will become part of a competent and cohesive team of about 40 employees. We are also responsible for coordinating a special housing facility. The team includes doctors, nurses, district nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, and medical secretaries who work together to provide our patients with security, a good reception, and professional care, always with high medical competence from the first contact to the end of treatment.

Job Duties

Your role as a medical secretary is central to our operations. You contribute both with service to our patients and with administrative efforts that support a well-functioning care process.

We actively work on development and improvements through structured quality work and digitalization, which you will naturally be a part of.

In your daily work, you will handle referrals, billing matters, mail, medical record requests, quality registers, and bookings. You will also function as internal system support and receive patients at the reception. The systems we work with include Webdoc and 1177. We apply job rotation, which creates variation in tasks and contributes to a stimulating and developing work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained medical secretary (degree certificate required) and has experience working in primary care. You should also have worked in the medical record system Webdoc. It is an advantage if you have previously worked in a reception within healthcare.

Furthermore, we see that you have good administrative and organizational skills and enjoy working in a service function. You are meticulous in your work, flexible, service-oriented, and easy to collaborate with. As a person, you are confident and secure in your role, positive in your approach, and can contribute to a good climate in the workgroup.
