Coordinator with Project Management Assignment to Bryggan – Employment Unit (AME)

About the Organization
The Employment Unit (AME) is part of Trollhättan City's efforts to strengthen individuals' opportunities for self-sufficiency. Within AME, several activities and initiatives are conducted for people who are far from the labor market.
Bryggan is a new initiative within AME that is planned to start on September 1. The target group for Bryggan's activities is individuals receiving social assistance and lacking other planning. The focus of the initiative is to remove barriers, strengthen individual capabilities, and create conditions for the next step towards work, studies, and self-sufficiency.
Contents of the Initiative, e.g.
- Remove barriers/create conditions: childcare, healthcare contacts, housing support, addiction support, motivational work
- Activities and initiatives: household economy, knowledge of society and the labor market, health/wellness, language café, digital skills
- Practical activities: creative activities, gardening, baking, and cooking
- Closure and further planning: applications for disability benefits, activity compensation, LSS/SOL, as well as documentation and support
Job Responsibilities
As a coordinator/project manager, you are responsible for leading, coordinating, and developing the initiative together with the unit manager. You will work both strategically and operationally, focusing on structure, quality, and collaboration.
Your role includes:
- Leading and coordinating a team consisting of case managers, activity pedagogues, social workers, and administrative support
- Responsible for planning, monitoring, and developing the initiative's working methods and interventions
- Ensuring that the work is conducted in line with AME's goals and assignments
- Initiating and developing collaboration internally and externally (e.g., healthcare, social services, authorities, and other stakeholders)
- Monitoring participants' progress towards goals
- Contributing to a solution-focused and trusting work climate
Qualifications
We are looking for a confident, clear, and development-oriented leader who:
- Has a relevant university degree
- Has documented experience in personnel management
- Experience in social work, labor market issues, and rehabilitative interventions
- Has the ability to build structure, culture, and clear processes
- Is accustomed to working strategically, long-term, and goal-oriented
- Has good collaboration skills and can represent the initiative in various contexts
Meritorious
- Experience in organizational development and change management
- Knowledge of social assistance, social insurance systems, LSS, and SOL
- Experience in monitoring, results management, and quality work
