Unit Manager at the Swedish Social Insurance Agency

As a unit manager, you create conditions for your employees to meet our assignments within our Partner Operations. By partners, we mean other authorities, employers, and municipalities, for example. Your employees interact with our partners via phone, email, and case management.

You create conditions for your employees to be able and willing to take significant responsibility for both the team's results and their own development.

Close Leadership, Change, Sustainable Workplace

As a unit manager, you are the leader closest to the employees and the operations. You are responsible for leading and driving the daily work based on the department's assignments and goals, where the state value base permeates your work. Through your leadership, you convey clear expectations, follow up on goals, and provide your employees with the right conditions to take their responsibility. You have personnel and work environment responsibility as well as results and follow-up responsibility for the teams in your unit.

Your unit consists of about 20 employees working with Customer Meetings and is located in Gothenburg. Through close leadership, you create the predictability, security, and sustainability necessary for employees to take their responsibility and meet the need for change.

As a unit manager, you support the area manager and are part of the area's management group, which consists of 11 people, where you contribute with your expertise and commitment. You adapt and exercise your leadership in a way that creates conditions for employees to use their judgment and competence.

The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.

A position, permanent, full-time, with start date according to agreement. A probationary period may be applicable. In accordance with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency's security guidelines, background checks will be conducted in this recruitment. Possibility for remote work exists if the work allows.
