Renovation Manager at Poseidon

Poseidon is currently in an active phase with many large renovation and reconstruction projects ongoing and planned for the next 15 years. As the renovation manager, you will be responsible for Poseidon's large renovation projects (order value over 15 million SEK), where your responsibility includes ensuring progress regarding economy, time, quality, environment, and reduced climate impact. At the same time, you are an inspiring leader for Poseidon's project managers, project leaders, and renovation coordinators, currently totaling 18 people.

Together with the department head and your colleagues, you will be responsible for preparing investment cases for the unit's projects for the management team and board, developing annual budgets and forecasts for the project portfolio and the unit, as well as developing new and improving working methods, processes, and routines. You will also act as a representative in projects that the unit drives and ensure that the projects reduce their climate impact based on set requirements.

In your role, you will work closely with other managers and functions in the department as well as district managers in our five districts. You will report to the head of our Property Development department and work from Poseidon's headquarters in Gamlestaden.

Qualifications

To succeed in the role of renovation manager with us at Poseidon, you need solid experience in project management within construction and renovation projects throughout the entire process – from preliminary study to commissioning. You have worked in complex project environments with many stakeholders and are comfortable in the ordering role, with good knowledge of residential construction, LOU, construction law, and project economics. It is an advantage if you have experience in preparing decision-making materials for the management team and board.

We see that you have a degree at least as a civil engineer in construction, civil engineering, or road and water, or other education and experience that we assess as equivalent. Furthermore, you have at least 10 years of experience in project management within the construction/real estate industry, of which at least 2 years as a manager with personnel responsibility. Experience as a manager for project managers/leaders is advantageous.
