Group Manager for National Support

The National Development Support unit is responsible for support funds in national government assignments and contributes to quality and efficiency to create the greatest possible benefit for the authority's target groups.

About the position

As the group manager for national support, you will be responsible for support that is not EU funds together with your employees. The group manager has personnel responsibility for employees, including employee and salary discussions. The group manager is responsible for the operational work, planning, and development of the group. The group manager participates in dialogue with clients about new assignments if the assignments involve funds that are to reach one of the authority's target groups. The group manager is responsible for developing working methods and tools together with other units within the authority.

Your workplace will be at one of the following offices: Arjeplog, Luleå, Östersund, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, or Örebro.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A degree from a university or college, preferably in a social science-related field.
  • Experience in leading others.
  • Several years of experience working with projects and programs in the areas of regional and local development, business development, and/or cohesion policy.
  • Experience from public administration.

The following are merits:

  • Experience in developing operations and working methods.
  • Experience in cross-organizational collaboration.

Employment form and application deadline

The position is a permanent employment. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
