We have a good collaboration with schools, our own outpatient care (Familjehuset and Partille alcohol and drug reception) and other important partners. We are numerous enough to do a good job and at the same time few enough to collaborate smoothly. Together we focus on developing the resources of those we are here for. We are now looking for a new social worker to one of our teams. The work involves investigating children and young people aged 0-20 and their families, as well as following up on approved interventions, such as outpatient care, contact persons/families, or HVB placements.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with the unit's other investigation teams, our reception group, and our safety team (which works particularly with children close to placement and their private networks to prevent or shorten placements outside the home).

We have implemented the working method Partnering for Safety, which is a twin to Signs of Safety. This work continues, of course, contributing to shared understanding, a spirit of development, and a common value base. As a social worker with us, you will have engaged colleagues, laughter, community, and a workplace where we care for each other. The daily work is led by three method supporters. All our social workers receive continuous process supervision and ongoing training through the Gothenburg region - The Career Journey.

With us, we are constantly working to become even better at what we do. Our development work is firmly anchored in the needs that social workers highlight and want to prioritize. The introduction of a new social services act has meant that the entire administration is in a strong development phase and that new ways of working are emerging. Right now, we are particularly focused on increasing children's and young people's participation and influence when we receive new cases, investigate, and follow up on interventions. We are also expanding and improving our collaboration with the children's relatives, so that their most important people are given the opportunity to contribute with safety, support, and protection. In addition, we are investing in strengthening our collaboration with the school's student health team and going out to various activities to inform about what we do, to increase trust and confidence in us.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker. If you have previous experience working with children and young people as well as authority exercise, this is an advantage. Experience with the working model Signs of Safety is a big plus.

As a social worker in an investigation team, you will have a varied, challenging, and very rewarding assignment. You need to be skilled at creating safety and working alliances with those you meet, so families dare to be honest, and you need to develop a safe way to communicate difficult assessments and decisions. In this work, we receive a lot of help from the tools offered within Partnering for Safety.

It is important for us that you as an employee can both give and receive support. We believe that you who are applying are a stable person with a high degree of personal maturity.
