Description

The Adult Unit consists of four social workers, nine assistance officers, two fee officers, one senior social worker, and a unit manager.

We work with authority exercises in various areas and generally with adults aged 20 and over, but also children under LSS.

As a social worker, you will work with individuals in need of support and assistance primarily in the areas of harmful use or addiction, individuals subjected to violence, and those needing support with housing interventions. However, it may also include other areas within the unit if the need arises.

Your closest colleagues consist of experienced social workers and close supervision from the senior social worker and unit manager. Method support occurs weekly in groups, and you will receive individual method support, case reviews, and case guidance tailored to your needs.

Job Responsibilities

As a social worker, you will engage in qualified investigation and follow-up work according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Care of Abusers in Certain Cases (LVM). You will work independently but also in close collaboration with colleagues, healthcare, service providers, and other partners, always with the user in focus.

In addition to authority exercises, an important preventive role is included, where you provide early support to residents through counseling, guidance, and information.

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or another qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
• Experience in authority exercises within SoL and LVM.
• Driver's license (B).
