As a colleague is moving on to a new assignment, we are now looking for a new colleague as a treatment assistant at the Adult Execution Unit.

The Adult Execution Unit works on behalf of social workers at the Adult Unit and Young Adults Unit for individuals with harmful use and dependency, co-occurring disorders, and for those who want to leave a criminal lifestyle. The workgroup consists of eight treatment assistants, the office is located on Dunfins street at Selma Lagerlöf square, and we are now looking for a new team member!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with at least two years of post-secondary education in social work or behavioral sciences, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You should also have experience working with the target group with harmful use and dependency, co-occurring disorders, and experience working with individuals who want to leave a criminal lifestyle. It is also a requirement that you have worked with relapse prevention (ÅP) and the MI method (motivational interviewing) and have experience collaborating with healthcare and other authorities/services responsible for the target group mentioned above.

We would like you to have knowledge of the social services process within adults, and you should be familiar with the laws, regulations, and guidelines that govern the operations and understand the importance of effective communication and collaboration with the units that hand over assignments.

You should have good documentation skills, and it is an advantage if you have worked in the Treserva operational system.

The position includes driving, and it is a requirement that you have a driver's license.

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable in themselves. You have a good approach towards everyone and are attentive to our clients' needs. You are flexible and pedagogical and can adapt your working style as you have a good understanding that our clients receive support and conversations based on their different circumstances and needs. You remain calm in pressured and difficult situations. You can balance the demands placed on you and can make well-founded decisions despite time pressure.

Job Responsibilities

As a treatment assistant, your task is to work supportively and motivationally to achieve the goals that the individual and the social worker have shaped together. By establishing action plans, you make the individual involved in the planning and execution of support measures and document this in the Treserva operational system. Support measures may include: supporting and motivating individuals to start or maintain necessary healthcare contacts, outpatient care, and authorities as part of improving their living situation. Work supportively and motivationally with individuals who have initiated an LVM investigation or are close to LVM. Support individuals who are returning from institutional care or housing. The work takes place both in the field and in the individual's home.

We are currently in the process of starting to receive assignments regarding individuals who want to leave a criminal lifestyle.

As a treatment assistant, you will be part of an engaged and knowledgeable workgroup. In your work, you will receive internal methodological support and external process guidance.

We are planning interviews at Dunfins street at the following times:

• Feb 16, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
• Feb 17, 2:30 PM - 3:30 PM
• Feb 19, 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
