Unika Nimbus Children and Youth Accommodation in Lund is a residence aimed at children and young people belonging to group 1 in LSS. We are a flexible organization that can meet each resident's individual needs and interests in everything from leisure activities to daily wishes. We often take trips to nearby attractions, engage in leisure activities together, visit local shops, or take the bus into town. We strive for participation and influence for our resident youth in everything from cooking to choosing a movie during shared movie time.
About the role of Support AssistantAs a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to individuals with disabilities, aiming to promote their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the users in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as a starting point.
We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, focusing on each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for users to achieve as much independence as possible and to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work based on clear pedagogy and low-arousal responses to create safety and predictability in the users' everyday lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources.
QualificationsVery good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good computer skills, experience with documentation.
Experience working with Clear Pedagogy.
Experience in care and support work.
High school education such as child and leisure program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field.
Driver's license is a requirement.
Experience with AAC and low-arousal responses.
Worked with complex support needs.
Employment type: Permanent Working hours: Approximately 85% Work schedule: Irregular, evenings, night shifts, weekends Start date: By agreement, we welcome candidates who can start soon. Collective agreement: We are bound by the collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Branch E.
