Your New Job

We are now looking for you who want to help develop the operations at Ribbaskolan's after-school care together with us. As a teacher in after-school care, you will play an important role in creating a safe and educational environment for our students. The role includes both work in the after-school care and collaboration with the school during the school day. You will be part of one of our after-school care departments in primary school, where we work closely together and collaborate between departments to create a cohesive everyday life for the students. As a teacher in after-school care, you will meet the students throughout the day – during the school day as well as in the morning and afternoon in after-school care.

In the role of teacher in after-school care, you are responsible for the educational work in the after-school care and create meaningful activities that relate to the curriculum goals and the primary school's mission. By planning, implementing, and following up on the operations, you contribute to ensuring that students have the opportunity to learn in creative ways and apply their knowledge in practice. You have a holistic perspective on the students' development and learning, and actively work to ensure that the after-school care is a valuable complement to the school day. With a focus on strengthening students' social skills and self-confidence, you create a safe and stimulating environment where each student can grow. You build trusting collaborations with students, guardians, and colleagues, and promote a good learning environment that meets the students' needs during their free time.

Ribbaskolan is a F-6 school in Gränna with approximately 250 students. We have beautiful, functional premises in a lovely and inspiring environment, between Grännaberget and Vättern. Ribbaskolan also has after-school care.

Ribbaskolan is located in an area rich in culture, recreational activities, and nature experiences, which provides the very best conditions for a pleasant school environment.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a qualified teacher with a teaching license for work in after-school care, or you who are at the end of your teacher training or have not yet obtained a license. You have good knowledge of the primary school's mission and its governing documents, and you work based on these with confidence and commitment. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working in after-school care or school. You have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and have basic IT skills that support your educational work.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
