Career Counselor in Career Guidance – Jönköping

We are now looking for a career counselor in Jönköping who wants to work with Career Guidance for real. Not just to inform – but to inspire, challenge, and help people take the next step in life.

This is what you will do with us

You meet people at a crossroads. Sometimes motivated. Sometimes lost. Often both at the same time. Your task? To help them find direction, courage, and opportunities.

In this role, you will work with:

• individual guidance and career conversations
• mapping of skills, experience, and potential
• support in choosing studies, professions, and the next steps
• collaboration with educational providers, employers, and authorities
• documentation and follow-up in digital systems

You work independently, but always with a team behind you that believes in collaboration, humor, and high engagement.

You are confident in your professional role and curious about people. You can listen, ask the right questions – and sometimes say what needs to be said, even when it’s a bit uncomfortable.

You are:

• an educated career counselor
• skilled in conversations that lead somewhere
• structured but not rigid
• professional, warm, and clear

Do you have experience in Career Guidance, labor market initiatives, or working with adults? Great. Do you speak additional languages? Even better.

Digital & Administrative

The role involves documentation towards participants and clients. You are comfortable with digital tools and have a good sense of structure – so that participants don’t have to worry about it.
