Folkuniversitetet's assignment for Jönköping municipality primarily involves SFI education during the day and evening in our own facilities. This includes teaching at the Labor Market Department (AMA) and open preschools.

We are looking for SFI teachers for both short and long temporary positions, during both days and evenings.

Teaching certification in SFI. Ongoing pedagogical studies may be accepted for shorter temporary positions.

If you have a shorter temporary position, you will handle prepared plans from colleagues, while in longer positions, you will be more involved in the planning. You have good knowledge and understanding of adult learning. You enjoy building your teaching around content that is relevant to the students. By working with everyday life, community life, work life, and study life as a common thread in your teaching, you create engagement and interest in the development of both language and knowledge. You have a genuine interest in where the student is heading next, and together with colleagues and students, you complement traditional teaching materials for practice and skill training with authentic material. Your pedagogical work with digital tools is a strength, and you use them thoughtfully so that they become actual learning resources. Problem-solving and creativity often come naturally to you.
