The PostNord Plus Foundation is an independent foundation with the mission to promote health, well-being, and community among PostNord's employees. We are now looking for a

secretary general who wants to take overall responsibility for the foundation's office and be a key person in the continued development of the organization.

You, us, and the job

As the secretary general, you have a central role in the foundation's daily operations and long-term development. You work closely with the CEO and the board to ensure that the office's work is conducted professionally and efficiently in line with the CEO's and board's decisions, as well as in accordance with the annual business plan and the foundation's purpose, statutes, and business plan.

The role combines strategic responsibility with operational leadership and means that you act as the CEO's deputy in daily operations. The position suits you who thrive in an organization where structure, close collaboration, and clear value creation for PostNord's employees go hand in hand.

What you will do

  • Lead, organize, and follow up on the daily work at the office
  • Be the manager of the office's three employees, responsible for work environment, development, and follow-up
  • Ensure well-functioning administrative processes such as documentation, record-keeping, contracts, and archives
  • Have overall responsibility for the office's finances, budget follow-up, approvals, and invoice management
  • Provide qualified support to the CEO and board, including board administration, decision-making materials, and reporting
  • Act as board secretary and registrar with the county administrative board
  • Be responsible for and coordinate internal and external communication, including the website and newsletters
  • Contribute to the development of partnerships, events, and presentations
  • Initiate and drive improvements in work methods, processes, and quality in the office's work.

Who you are

  • Confident in your leadership and experienced in leading smaller teams with significant responsibility
  • Structured, meticulous, and responsible
  • Experienced in building trust in collaboration with many stakeholders
  • Unpretentious and solution-oriented, with the ability to think both strategically and work operationally in an organization with a clear purpose
  • Service-oriented and communicative, with a genuine commitment to people and the organization
  • Analytical and experienced in working with statistics, follow-up, and decision-making materials
  • You are unique: We place great emphasis on your personal qualities

What you bring with you

  • Academic education in administration, economics, communication, or equivalent
  • At least 10 years of experience in qualified administrative work
  • Experience in personnel management and project management
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
  • Good IT skills, especially within Office and web-based systems
  • Experience from the non-profit sector, public sector, tourism, or other complex organizations is an advantage.
