Rudenschöldskolan is a grades 7-9 school with approximately 420 students and 55 staff.

We believe in digital lesson design, high adult presence, the right conditions for teachers to focus on teaching, and a good working environment.

We have a learning environment with home classrooms where students are close to their teachers. All students have access to their own iPad, which is used for learning both at school and at home.

Job Description

Your primary task is to challenge students in their learning together with colleagues in working groups and subject teams and support students in their knowledge development towards set goals.

You plan lessons together with other mathematics teachers and support students both in the classroom and in smaller groups.

Who are you?

You are a certified teacher with the qualifications to teach mathematics in grades 7-9.

We are looking for someone who is well acquainted with the subject's purpose, abilities, and knowledge requirements and is well-versed in the school's view of knowledge and value mission. You have good knowledge and competence in digital and formative learning processes.

We would like you to be interested in and have experience with language-developing approaches in the multilingual classroom. You have the ability to motivate and create learning and learning environments characterized by inclusion, variation, and interactivity. You have the ability to see and meet each student and start from what works.

You see opportunities in working interdisciplinary in collaboration with others. Your learning in collegial learning is a given. You reflect on and analyze your own teaching as a natural part of your practice. You have a strong commitment in the classroom and take great responsibility in your work.

You have a very good ability to create good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are communicative and creative. We would like you to dare to think and try new things together with others.

Conditions

Fixed-term employment during the spring term of 2026 with a start date to be agreed upon.

Before employment, we will require you to present an extract from the criminal record (Chapter 2, Section 31 of the Education Act). The extract can be requested via the Criminal Record - request extract | Police Authority (polisen.se). It usually takes between 1-2 weeks to receive it by mail.
